I think you are sort of misguided, the mortagage field is the fault of lenders just handing out loans to everyone and now they know they have made mistakes so their changing all of their programs and interest rates. Real Estate is because their was and still is a glut in that there are just too many condo's (which is the source of the problems). Wall street was doing good but is now suffering partly due to these other problems.

So you should see it isn't Bush's fault, stop making him out as the scapegoat for everything that dems have been apart off (like the war in iraq, Katrina (blame the governor and the Mayor)). But I do agree that are economy as suffered a little but don't make this a political blame game.

The economy is doing very well overall by any measure - there are always a few sectors that don't do as well as the broader economy, and at the height of the interest rate cycle typically higher-risk lending is one of those sectors.

And it's not just a better economy for the rich peeps.

If that were true then the number of rich peep households wouldn't be increasing by over half a million a year.

anyone who thinks our economy is doing good with bush as our pres is a brainwashed fool! like the saying goes, "no one died when clinton lied" and another thing, when clinton was in office, we didnt have a deficit. the only reason why we have a deficit is because of bush and his greedy war-hungry ways.

Here are the numbers for the economy. If you think little things such as "facts" are wrong, you honestly need to reconsider why you so vehemently believe what you are saying.

To quote Fred Thompson.

"The economic reality I’m talking about, and about which I’ve written on numerous occasions, is how well our country is doing economically thanks to the hard work of the American people, the innovation and competition our free market encourages, as well as the Bush tax cuts that helped spur 5½ years of economic growth.

Lower tax rates have increased economic growth to such a degree that we have been breaking tax-revenue records.

Since the spring of 2003, the economy has had average growth of over 3%, 8.2 million jobs have been created, and the inflation rate has stayed low. The current unemployment rate, 4.6%, is a full percentage point below what it averaged during the 1990s, and there have been 47 consecutive months (almost four years) of job growth. In the last three years, workers’ salaries have risen by $1.2 trillion, or $8,000 per worker, and consumer confidence recently reached its highest level in almost six years.

People have pointed out that journalists were trumpeting economic statistics during the Clinton administration that were not as good as those we have now, hence the 'greatest story never told.' "

everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and each person just gave u that, his/her opinion..besides, wars happened w/ a lot of presidents, so why this one makes bush a bad president? we were in two world wars after all...and we were in the middle east w/ clinton, and bush 1, so why does all that make Bush 2 the only bad one?
